WELLCOME TO VTN

Rooted in Equality, Driven by Human Rights

The Venasa Transgender Network (VTN), established in 2015 and registered in 2016, is the first and only dedicated transgender-led organization in Sri Lanka working exclusively to uplift, empower, and protect transgender persons and individuals across the entire gender spectrum.

Our work extends to trans men, trans women, gender-fluid people, bigender, agender, intersex persons, and in special cases, other LGBQ individuals who need urgent support.
For nearly a decade, VTN has led national efforts in legal advocacy, healthcare access, emergency protection, community support, and social transformation.

Our vision is simple yet powerful — every transgender person deserves dignity, safety, and an equal life.
